Tuesday 13th of October, Osaka Castle Area & more

After settled in my studio and a short nap, I took off to the nearby Osaka Castle Area. It was an easy walk, no more then 1km. A nice afternoon with some clouds and some sun. On the way I found this machine where you can buy drinks in a can/bottle. I was looking, looking 8-0 and looking those bottles and cans over, just had to guess what I was taking because it's all Japanees written. So I thought getting a nice cool green rice drink I did get a HOT CAN with green tea. It was delicious though but hardly could hold the can, so hot it was.
I reached the Osaka Castle Area which is surrounded by water and high walls. There are different gates where you can enter the area. I started off at the Otemon Gate and left the area by Kyobashy-guchi Entrance.

Below you see some of the images I took wandering the Castle Area.

After I left the Castle Area I just walked around, direction the city and the river. Crossed some of the rivers like Neyagawa River and the Okawa River. From here you find the skyline of Osaka, with a little sunset over the river.

Then it was time to get some food. After checking some windows I choose for this Japanees little restaurant. In the window they had all there meals showed so I went inside. The lady showed me the door... I thought, but she actually showed me the 2 dinnerbons automats. So you choose from this machine and pay before you eat. After getting the bon from the machine you sit down and things are getting organized. Glass of water, bowl of spices and there came the food. Free refill of rice and free green tee. Had to walk an extra block ;-)
